Chapter One underwent a major re-styling programme in January 2007 and transformed the acclaimed multi-award winning restaurant at Farnborough Common, Locksbottom, into one of the most luxurious in the country.
"We completely re-styled the inside to make it even more comfortable and luxurious, with new décor, new furniture and new lighting, plus some structural changes designed to create a greater feeling of light and spaciousness without losing the intimate aspect of dining at Chapter One that many of our customers feel is so important," said marketing manager Penny Jackson.
"The new interior is glamorous, chic and very diner-friendly. It features a marble bar with a black volcanic stone top, all hand-made in Italy, a bespoke smoked glass-fronted wine cellar to hold our renowned collection of wines, and an antique bevelled mirrored wall. It has transformed the restaurant and bar area into one of the most luxurious and stylish of any restaurant in the country."
The restaurant introduced its own exclusive 'mood music' commissioned from leading international celebrity DJ Michael Adams, the man behind the acclaimed music style at the Buddha bar in Paris and Hakkasan, one of London's top restaurants. He has created a range of unobtrusive, but relaxing and enjoyable ambient music for Chapter One customers to dine by.
But what definitely didn't change, emphasised Penny, is Chapters One's acclaimed modern European cuisine and its renowned value-for-money reputation.
"We want to ensure everyone who eats at Chapter One can say they have enjoyed the best value-for-money dining experience ever," she said.
